Millenium LoL wins Gamers Assembly 2016Team LoL
The League of Legends roster keeps asserting its leadership.
While many of us must have spent their last weekend of March binging on Easter eggs and rabbits, the structure was up to something more, shall we say, rewarding.
From March 26 to 28, Gamers Assembly came back stronger than ever for a 17th edition at the Poitiers Exhibition Centre for 72 hours of intense competition.
As in most eSport events, League of Legends was obviously in the air with 48 teams competing for the €10,000 prize pool at stake.
Coming back from the dead with the scar of a recent wound, Millenium has not said its last word as the players are still fully committed and ready to reign supreme in everything they undertake.
As for the event, it was not spared by the purple squad’s rage for conquest despite the few ruthless teams that would stand up to it.
With near-perfect Group Stages (congrats Absolut Academy Blue) and spotless Playoffs, Kaze, Djoko, Pretty, Hans Sama and Masterwork managed to come out on top after a nasty 3-0 against E-Corp N2K in Grand Finals.
Things seem to be slightly better in our players’ mind than they were following the heartbreaking sequel to the Challenger Series.
They definitely emerged greater and stronger from this outstanding Gamers Assembly, thus getting back to the fold with a well-earned €5,000 cash reward.
